The kids are grown, the lady is ready to get back to the business of lettering! Along with selling originals and prints of her fine art.
Lynn ran Biron Signs, LLC for over 24 years, specializing in boat lettering. In 2009, she closed her business to spend more time with her young children. Being a creative person, she began painting at night when everyone was asleep. In the last 10 years (of sign retirement) she has become an award winning, international artist and has been published in numerous books, newspapers, magazines, and won multiple awards across the country for her realistic fine art. All of this being "retired".
I LOVE designing and lettering, I also LOVE painting. With boat lettering, which often calls for artistic, one of a kind designs, the blend of the two disciplines is perfect! I create a custom design for you and YOU alone.
Under every painting I paint a positive word. Sometimes you can see it, other times it is completely painted over. I feel it vibrates positivity to me as I paint, and that translates in the end as well…it's kind of become my gig. :)
My paint of choice is acrylics. I love how I can layer the color, and add many colors in one brushstroke. I'm a messy painter, so the fact that it dries fast is a big plus. I am inspired by nature! Often the most overlooked things -weeds, cars buried in the weeds, women walking in the weeds! I love vintage, and I love to paint woman in empowering scenarios too.
Check out this great video of me starting a new painting. The lettering has always been an integral part of my paintings. I work daily on being positive, and I want to share that vibration any way possible!!
